Romano British finds in the Glebe.

It was another very warm and humid day in the Glebe Field Friday 17th July.

We have had a few Romano British finds recently and it may be this that drew my eye to a piece of red sandstone found this Friday that clearly has two worked, rounded edges and an angle that reminded me of some RB roof tile I saw at a site near Westbury - sub - Mendip. I've  posted here photos of the fragment and the whole tiles from Westbury, see what you think? Is my fragment part of a roof tile?

Worked ,rounded egde.

Broken edge.

Where the fragment may have fitted in a roof tile.
