Last Friday the 19th we were lucky enough to have Alex along to test out an infrared imaging drone. I have been very keen to use this method of surveying, which has been in play for many decades, but hopefully now with better software and the like we can use it more effectively.
Below are a few images Alex captured. For me , there are north to south anomalies visible that have gone unnoticed to date. They are probably historic plough marks or the like. However, in the last 26 years the grass has never been mown in this direction. This shows the values of using every method of investigation available.
