University of Bristol to teach at the Glebe Field

Further to  meetings with Prof. Stuart Prior and Prof. Mark Gillings, we'd like to announce the University of Bristol will be running a series of schools in the Glebe Field this year 2026 and  2027. Stuart knows our site very well after visiting for the BBC's 'Digging for Britain' 2023. Initially this will be for teaching  geophysical surveying including  ground penetrating radar and later a summer dig for their students. It will be largely independent from the SAG's dig but with possibly sharing of cataloging and the like. We're really excited at the prospect of working with Bristol University who wish to make a positive contribution to our dig.
